Keith,

Thanks for your inquiry. Let me start out by saying that I find your artistic aims in glass very interesting. As for glass scraps, yes I have quite a bit on hand. Please call me for info on how you may obtain it.

What you seem to be describing is glass fusing. This is the process where glass pieces are stacked together and fired in a kiln to the temperature at which glass melts. The pieces then literally fuse, or melt, together to form a new piece. And yes, we can do that here.

Please feel free to call me to discuss this. You won't be interrupting...and you most certainly will not irritate me. :)

Thanks, too, for this tip about the time stamp. I'll get that straightened out.

By the way, the time-stamp for your blog appears to be 4 hours ahead of local time.

The reason for this comment is somewhat multi-faceted (no pun intended);
I am interested in creating lithic and eccentric art items from colored glass, and so...
Do you have scraps of glass too small for your art that I might be able to use for mine
Do you make your own slabs of glass to shape for your designs, and if so...
Would you be interested in cleaned, sorted glass bits to fuse together to make larger usable pieces, for yourself and/or for me,
and if not, can you recommend some one that has the equipment to make small slabs per request?
I am aware that an artist's time is precious, which is why I have posted here instead of phoning you and possibly interrupting/irritating you.
I am hopeful for your reply,
Thank You,
